There is no one prescribed method for setting your intentions and honouring your healing work. Generally speaking, it is good to follow your inner guidance and what feels right for you. With this in mind, the suggestions below are offered simply as inspiration.

REMOTE ENERGY HEALING
To make the most of your distance energy healing session, consider the following practices:
CREATE THE SPACE
Create a Sacred Space: Choose a quiet, distraction-free environment where you feel comfortable and safe. This could be a dedicated meditation space, a quiet room, or a peaceful spot in nature.
Prepare the Environment: Gather what you need, water or herbal tea, a journal - if you plan to write. Light a candle and burn incense if you desire, these actions help signal to your mind and body that you are entering a healing space.
BEGIN THE SESSION
Ground and Center: Sit or stand with your feet firmly on the ground. Take a few deep breaths and visualise roots extending from your feet into the Earth, anchoring you. Place your hands over your heart or solar plexus and continue taking conscious breaths, bringing your awareness to your center
Include Ritual: Begin with a ritual that feels meaningful to you. This may include lighting a candle, holding a crystal, ringing a bell, or using a sound bowl to mark the beginning of the session.
SETTING YOUR INTENTIONS
Reflect On Your Needs: Spend a few moments in contemplation, considering what you hope to achieve from the session.
You might ask yourself:- Are there specific physical, emotional, or spiritual issues I want to address? - What areas of my life feel out of balance? - Are there any unhelpful patterns of behaviour that I am ready to let go?
Formulate Your Intention: Based on your reflections, create a clear and positive intention statement. Use the present tense and focus on the desired outcome rather than the problem.
For example:- I am open to receive guidance - I gratefully receive the most appropriate healing for my highest good at this time - I let go of energetic blocks that no longer serve my highest good
Write / Affirm / Visualise: You may like to write your intention down and keep it with you during the session. Speaking your intention out loud can be a powerful way to affirm it - we create through vibration! You may wish to spend a few minutes visualising receiving healing light into your being. All of these help to reinforce your intention and connect you with the healing process.
Let Go & Trust: After setting your intention, release any attachment to the outcome. Trust that the energy will work in the most appropriate way possible for your highest good.
DURING THE SESSION
Meditation: You may enjoy sitting in meditation, focusing on conscious breathing, and being open and present to the experience.
Nature: You may choose to be outside, somewhere peaceful, walking in nature, or sitting / lying down on the earth - this can be a very grounding experience.
Journal: You may choose to engage in journalling or automatic writing. Or perhaps you might spend the time drawing.
Self-care Practices: You may choose to spend the time with gentle activities that nurture your body and spirit, such as taking a warm bath, practising yoga, or simply resting.
CLOSE THE SESSION
End With Intention: Honour the close of the session in a way that resonates for you, extinguish the candle, ring a bell or sound bowl, and express gratitude.
Reflect & Integrate: Spend a few moments reflecting on any sensations or insights you experienced. Take notes if you find this helpful. Know that it can take time to integrate the experience, be gentle and patient with yourself.
Stay Hydrated and Rest:: Drink plenty of water and where possible take it easy and rest.
Mindfulness: It serves us to be mindful of where we create stories around our healing work. It is a good practice to acknowledge and simply let go - rather than attaching stories and therefore holding that which is ready to be released in our present.
WHAT DOES REMOTE HEALING MEAN?
Remote or distance healing is a form of energy work that is conducted without the facilitator and recipient being physically present in the same location. This practice is based on the understanding that energy transcends physical boundaries and can be worked with over any distance. During a remote healing session, the facilitator connects energetically with the recipient to identify and release energetic blocks, balance the energetic system, and promote healing. This process can be just as effective as in-person sessions, as it occurs in the universal energy field (life force energy/chi,) allowing the recipient to experience profound shifts and improvements in their well-being from wherever they may be.

SHORT & SWEET
WHEN WE HAVE A HEALING SESSION
AND LIFE IS STILL IN MOTION
There are times when life simply doesn’t allow us to hit the snooze button. How can we make the most of our distance healing session when life has to keep on life-ing?
ALLOW WHAT IS
Know that everything is exactly as it should be. Acknowledge that the energy healing can still work even if you are not in a completely quiet or meditative state. If you need to work, take care of children, or handle other responsibilities that’s all good. Do what you can to stay mindful and simply allow the healing energy to flow through you.
LET’S KEEP IT BASIC
Acknowledge The Start: This can be as simple as taking a moment to close your eyes, and take three conscious breaths as you visualise yourself grounding.
Set Your Intention: If you know that you are going to be engaging with life during the actual session i recommend taking time ahead of the scheduled session to reflect and create an intention for the session. Alternatively, trust your intuition and create you intention in the moment - it most likely will be something that has been in your awareness anyway! If you are able to speak your intention out loud do so, alternatively say it mentally, or write it down and keep it with you during the session.
Trust & Let Go: Trust that the healing session is unfolding for your highest good. Let go of expectations or any feelings that you ‘should’ be in meditation etc. Simply allow what is.
Acknowledge The End: Mark the close of the session, this can be simply taking a moment to close your eyes, take a few conscious breaths, and hold gratitude for yourself and for the support of Mother Nature / Divine Source Consciousness / God / The Universe - whatever resonates for you.
